Sustainable Protein

In comparison to cows, which require 4.5kg of feed to produce 0.45kg of protein, crickets require only 0.9kg. They have a food conversion ratio that puts all livestock to shame and is also superior to chicken. It just doesn’t stop at the feed amount per kg, crickets are also extremely water efficient with 8 litres of water producing 1kg of protein unlike cattle which require 8350 litres.

Not only that, crickets only produce 2g of CO2 per 1kg of protein which is extremely low compared to cattle, which produce 2,850g of CO2!
